Sources from Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) informed Eastern Mirror that the right-arm leg-spinner has been invited for the trial camp of Rajasthan Royals, one of the initial eight IPL franchises.

Kense is reportedly leaving for Rajasthan on February 1 to undergo trials for a chance to play first-class cricket.

The Naga lad was first invited by Mumbai Indians after he made his first appearance at Syed Ali T20 trophy in Chennai where he took seven wickets.

“So far, there has been no intimation from Mumbai Indians,” said an official from NCA, adding, “We will only come to know during the auction who will come and who will go”.

The players’ auction for the 2021 edition of IPL will take place on February 18 in Chennai.
