Advisor urges officers to be in station
Dimapur, Nov. 17 (EMN): Advisor of Water Resources, Namri Nchang, has appealed to all the head of departments and their subordinate staff to be in the station and carry out their work with utmost sincerity as well as serve the public.
Nchang made this appeal during a monthly meeting of the Peren district planning and development board (DPDB) held in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner, Peren, on November 17. Nchang, who is also the DPDB chairman directed the DC Peren to check the attendance record of every department and to take appropriate action in case of any complaint regarding irregularities of government employees, a DIPR report stated on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the members have approved the introduction of a helicopter service between Dimapur and Tening ADC headquarters once in a week. The members have also decided to undertake the restoration of the road along Peren-Nsong circle which was damaged by monsoon rains.
The members have also discussed on the celebration of the 75th year of Peren district.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the deputy commissioner, Peren.
