Advisor urges frontline workers to be equipped with healthcare technologies

Dimapur, May 1 (EMN): Advisor to IPR, SCERT and Village Guard, Toshi Wungtung has urged the frontline workers to be well prepared and equipped with advance technologies related to healthcare facilities.

According to DIPR report, the advisor visited District Hospital Tuensang, designated as Covid-19 hospital on April 30 and took stock of the situation there.

He informed that ambulance, ventilator, PPE, medicines and other necessary kits will be arriving soon.

Speaking  on burial of Covid-19 death bodies if any such case arises,  he advised that proper guidelines have to be followed and maintained while handling and disposing death bodies.

In order to contain the pandemic, the advisor requested the district administration and law enforcing agencies to keep a vigil in all the district boundaries and also the international boundary with Myanmar.

The advisor also had a meeting with district officers at Circuit House.

He appreciated the district task force on Covid-19 pandemic and all the frontline warriors for their efforts in the fight against the pandemic in the district.

While appreciating the citizens for their cooperation, he also requested them to continue with the same spirit till the pandemic is over.
