Advisor inspects alternative DC office site in Dimapur
Advisor of CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, on Wednesday inspected the alternative site of the DC office complex at Survey Training Institute (STI) in Purana Bazaar, Dimapur.
DIMAPUR — Advisor of CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, on Wednesday inspected the alternative site of the DC office complex at Survey Training Institute (STI) in Purana Bazaar, Dimapur.
Khamo informed that the new DC office complex would have state-of-the-art facilities. He added that an alternative DC office would soon function at Survey Training Institute (STI), Purana Bazaar, stated an update from the advisor’s office.
The additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Dimapur, Mhalo Humtsoe, stated that the proposed alternative site at STI, Purana Bazaar, under the Land Records and Survey department was approved during the district planning and development board meeting.
With the renovation going on at the alternative site to make it feasible for setting up of DC office, she expressed hope that it would be able to make it at an early date.
Sungtiba Amer, CAWD executive engineer, stated that the new DC office complex was sanctioned for reconstruction at the existing site. It would house around eight departments in the new DC complex with state-of-the-art building with more than 150 parking spaces.
Later, the advisor along with CAWD officials inspected various general administration (GA) works under Chümuokedima and Dimapur districts. He visited ADC office in Medziphema, EAC office in Seithekema, new DC office in Chümoukedima and DC office in Dimapur.
This was his third phase of visit after taking charge of CAWD as the advisor. As part of the tour, Khamo would visit all the districts in a phase manner to inspect the various works under general administration and also to understand the challenges faced by the administration in the state.
