DIMAPUR — Advisor of Land Resources, Government of Nagaland, G Ikuto Zhimomi on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed general administration (GA) rest house at Aghunato, Zunheboto district.
In his address, the advisor emphasised that government property belongs to the public and urged every citizen to treat it as their own, using it wisely and carefully.
Zhimomi formally handed over both the rest house buildings to the administration, declaring that all rules must align with government guidelines.
“The public and tourists should strictly follow these rules when using the GA rest house and other public properties at ADC headquarters, Aghunato,” he stated.

Looking ahead, he highlighted that Aghunato town will celebrate its platinum jubilee in 2027. He called upon the administration to lead as the head and chairman of the celebrations, urging public and organisational support for a grand event.
Prior to the rest house inauguration, the advisor commissioned a new ambulance at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Aghunato, acknowledging the Medical department of Nagaland for providing the vehicle.
Zhimomi expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for his continued assistance and support.
The event was attended by government officials, medical staff, GBs, elders and public leaders.
