Inmates of Old Age Home at Meriema with the blankets gifted by Lions Club of Kohima on December 16.[/caption]
Kohima, Dec. 17 (EMN): The Lions Club of Kohima (LCK) made the inmates of Old Age Home at Meriema felt special by organising advent Christmas celebration for them on Sunday.
LCK president Lion Aroba expressed happiness that the members of the Club could once again visit the special home that houses 25 inmates and seven staff.
“You are our old parents and happy that we get time to spend with you on such occasion,” Aroba told the gathering.
Former LCK president Lion Tali Jamir also shared his love, concern and association with the inmates over the years.
The Club also gifted 25 blankets to the inmates and shared Christmas cake during the celebration.
