Kohima, May 19 (EMN): Adroit Boys, A Yhome, Legend Lads, and Soccer Heroes won their respective matches and entered the semi-finals of the ongoing 1st Open Futsal tournament, organised by Naga Football Club on Friday.
During the first quarter-final match, Adroit Boys defeated Dream FC by a margin 4-0 while A Yhome FC overpowered Zenith FC Viswema in the second quarter final match to beat the team by 3-2.
Legend Lads thrashed Young Heroes at the local ground by 4-0. In the last final match, Soccer Heroes FC entered the semis with a goal lead played against FC Tah Chapa by 4-3.
The semi final and the final matches will be played at the Kohima local ground where A Yhome FC will lock horns with Adroit Boys and Soccer Heroes will face Legend Lads in the semifinal matches of the tournament on Saturday. Ropfii Meyase, state football coach to attend the final match as the match patron.
The winner of the tournament will walk away with cash of Rs. 30,000 along the trophy and the runners-up with Rs. 20,000 with the trophy, while both the two losing semi-finalists will receive a cash of Rs.5000 each.
