ADC Peren announces a travel advisory for surfacing work and a digitisation drive for birth and death certificates.

DIMAPUR — The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Peren, D Robin, has issued a travel advisory informing that the road stretch from Peren Namdi to Peren Headquarters via Peren Government College shall remain closed to all vehicular traffic from February 11 to the 17th.
According to a DIPR report, the advisory was issued in view of bituminous surfacing work from Kipeujang to Peren Headquarters.
The ADC informed and advised all vehicles to use the alternative route from Old Chalkot Junction to Peren Headquarters via New Peren village during the aforesaid period.

In a separate circular, the ADC Peren informed that an exercise for the digitisation of birth and death certificates is being carried out by the Department of Economics and Statistics in the office of the ADC Peren during normal office hours from February 10 to the 13th.
The ADC has informed all interested individuals to avail themselves of the said service by producing their original certificates during the aforesaid period.
