Dimapur, May 26 (EMN): Additional Deputy Commissioner Peren, Mhathung Tsanglao following a meeting on May 21 issued certain guidelines in Peren district, according to a DIPR update on Wednesday.
1. Transportation of essential commodities into Peren to be done with a limited time period.
2. Shops to be open from 6 am to 12 noon. The DEF along with PTYO volunteers would monitor for social distancing and compulsory wearing mask. Private cars also allowed for facilitating of carrying essential goods.
3. Private vehicles to other district/s for procurement of medical and emergencies would be allowed on permission. On entry to the district it would be sanitised between 6 am to 6 pm.
4. The President of Traders’ Union, Peren has been directed to supervise and maintain the SOPs.
5. The MS, District Hospital has informed that the existing OPD has been converted into a Covid Hospital due to rise of Covid-19 positive cases in the district and subsequently decided to identify a fresh building for emergency OPD within the town.
