ADC of Tobu passes away; funeral on Sunday

Kohima, Feb. 13 (EMN):
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Tobu in Mon district, Müdongoyi Chüzho, passed away at his place of posting on Friday, February 12. He was 46.

Chüzho is survived by his wife and three children — two daughters and a son.

He hailed from Phüsachodü village in Phek district and belonged to 2005 batch of Nagaland Civil Services. He served as extra assistant commissioner at Mon, Tseminyu and Chetheba before going on to serve as sub-divisional officer (Civil) in Peren and Aghunato after promotion.

Thereafter, he was transferred as deputy secretary of Labour and Employment, and died in office as the ADC of Tobu.

His mortal remains were taken to Kohima on February 13 after a public farewell programme in Tobu on the same day.

A public homage for the deceased is scheduled to take place at 12 noon at Agri Farm Colony, Kohima on February 14. It will be followed by funeral service at 1 pm. After which, his mortal remains will be taken for burial at his family’s property in Lerie Chazou, Kohima.

Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton expressed sadness at the demise of the public servant and conveyed condolences to his friends and family.

“In him, the state has lost a very diligent, sincere and capable young officer,” he wrote and prayed that his soul to rest in peace. Caption: Müdongoyi Chüzho.
