Dimapur, Aug. 19 (EMN): Following detection of Covid-19 cases at D’ Block and Phezoucha colony at Kohima, the additional deputy commissioner, Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has demarcated the sealed area in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.
All movement of person/vehicles within the defined sealed area has been strictly restricted and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing, a DIPR report stated.
The sealed areas included House No. 106 at D’ Block, Sector-B Kohima, one house below Meriema Covid Care Centre at Phezoucha Colony, Room No. 5 of police officer’s mess at New Police Reserve Colony, House No. 113 at Upper Lerie Colony, and House No. 19 at Middle Agri-Forest Colony, Kohima.
In another notification, KP Bethesda Hospital at PR Hill near PHQ junction has been sealed with immediate effect in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.
The notification also stated that Out Patient Department (OPD) and other medical related activities of the hospital would be strictly restricted till such time the sealing notification is officially lifted. In addition, all movement of person within the sealed area has been prohibited
