Activision announces ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’ tournament
Dimapur, April 22 (EMN): Activision has announced a brand new initiative to bring the world of e-sports to Call of Duty: Mobile.
The game publisher, through a press release, officially announced the e-sport tournament ‘Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020’ presented by Sony. The tournament will start from April 30 with prize money of more than 1 million dollars.

Call of Duty: Mobile is a first-person shooter free-to-play game specifically for the mobile Android and iOS platforms. The mobile game features multiple modes of play including Battle Royale and Multiplayer modes, fan-favourite maps, weapons and playable characters from the popular Call of Duty PC franchises.
Call of Duty: Mobile was the second-most downloaded game in 2019 in both the App Store and Google Play.
In order to be eligible to play in the tournament, players must be ranked veteran or higher in Multiplayer mode. However, Battle Royale ranks will not affect a players eligibility to participate in the tournament. Only Multiplayer ranking of a player would be taken into account for this tournament.
After a player has mastered the beginning stages of the tournament, he will then get a chance to compete for his share of the 1 million dollars in total prizes.
