Active Covid-19 cases breach 1000-mark in Nagaland as 181 new infections detected

Dimapur, April 29 (EMN): The number of active Covid-19 cases in Nagaland has breached 1000-mark as 181 new infections were recorded on Thursday
According to data provided by the Health and Family Welfare department 132 new Covid cases were detected in Dimapur, 42 in Kohima, three in Mokokchung, and one each in Kiphire, Mon, Phek and Zunheboto, in the last 24 hours.
The state currently has 1072 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 973 are asymptomatic, 68 mild, 12 moderate on oxygen, 17 severe on oxygen and two critical on ventilator. The state has also registered 12212 recoveries and 100 deaths, out of which 10 have been ruled ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 860, Kohima-151, Mokokchung – 25, Tuensang – 10, Phek – 9, Mon – 7, Longleng – 5, two each in Peren and Kiphire, and one in Zunheboto.
