‘About Us’ from Nagaland releases debut album

Dimapur, Nov. 12 (EMN): The long-awaited and much-anticipated debut album of Nagaland’s own ‘About Us’ was released globally by Frontier Records Srl’, Naples Italy on Nov. 11.

An update from the band’s Manager, K Edward Ngullie, issued on Nov. 12 informed that the band’s debut album consists of 10 songs and a bonus track.

The band released their first single ‘Loaded love’ on Dec. 21, 2020, which was received with a mixed response while their next song and first music video ‘Gimme gimme’, garnered numerous reactions. The music video was well received by listeners all over the state and beyond, reaching almost half a million viewers in a few months’ time before it was deleted from all streaming sites to be re-released by the band’s record label.

Wrapping up busy 2021, the band released their second music video ‘Right now’ on Dec. 18 last year.

About Us also released their third music video ‘Our Fairyland’ on Oct. 31 this year.

Ngullie in the update shared, ‘as an experimental melodic rock group, the debut album was made in such a way to explore and experiment the bands influences, which can be observed as the songs progresses. From hard to softer side and power ballad.’

“We hope that our audience will like our songs, buy our album and watch our shows too,” the manager shared.
