Aboard health institutions invite state nurses because of their devotion — Mnp. minister

Imphal, Nov. 18 (EMN): Several states outside Manipur and abroad have offered job opportunities for nurses of the state, according to Health and Family Welfare Minister Langpoklakpam Jayantakumar Singh.
Speaking at the 3rd convocation-cum-graduation ceremony of Catholic Medical Centre (CMC) Hospital at Koirengei here on Nov. 17, Singh said that receiving such opportunity is a proud moment and a pride for the state as the offers were given after knowing the ability and devotion of the state’s nurses.
He motivated the students who graduated and received their certificates, to keep going forward and continue their study and maintain their interest in the field.
Jayantakumar appealed the graduated students not to forget human values and maintain work ethics when they start working.

On Health and Wellness Centre, he said that state’s health department is initiating various welfare programmes, apart from the health sector.
CMC Joint Secretary R Rang Peter, Rev. Sister Lily Maria of St. Claire Province Imphal and Rev. Father John Kachipri also attended the event.
There are reports of demand of Manipuri nurses not only in the national healthcare sector but also in international arena considering their dedication, honestly and the hard work.
