‘ABBA a tribute night’ held at Musik-A in Chümoukedima

Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): ‘ABBA a tribute night’ organised by Musik-A (Alobo school of music), Chümoukedima branch was held at Council Town Chümoukedima hall on July 16 as part of their summer recital.

An update issued on July 18 informed that the summer recital was held from July 11 till the 16th.

During the 90 minutes show, students from the age of 3 years to 18 years came together and sang almost all the hits from the legendary group ABBA – Mama Mia, Thank you for the music, Super Trooper, Chiquitita, Fernando, Take a chance on me, I have a dream, Waterloo, The winner takes it all, Dancing quuen, GIME GIME, Andante, angel eye and many more.

Alobo Naga, the Director of Musik-A school in his welcome address stated that recitals are just an extension of their music class room learning. Through recitals, he said, the children learn how to face the audience, gain confidence, courage and learn what to do and not to do during performances.

Naga stated that most of the parents love ABBA songs, so in order to entertain and show appreciation to the parents, the ABBA tribute night was held as the finale of the summer recital.

The programme was graced by the upcoming promising leader Z Kasheto Yeptho class 1 contractor.

The special guest stated that music is one industry that cannot be purchased or is not corrupted but depends purely on ones talent
