Dimapur, August 4 (EMN): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Nagaland has announced to start the political campaign to different parts of the State in the following months for the 2018 general elections.
AAP Nagaland made this announcement to its party chief, Arvin Kejriwal, and the leader of Political Affairs Committee (PAC), Rakesh Sinha, during a meeting in New Delhi on July 31. The State delegation was led by Dr. Amos Longkumer, State Convener, and Dr. Lemwang Chuhwanglim, State spokesperson, along with eight executive members.
AAP Nagaland had highlighted on the one and half year achievements of the party in the State and announced to start its political campaign to different parts of the State in the following months in preparation for the 2018 general elections.
AAP Nagaland Media Cell today stated that Kejrival had assured to support the party in every political venture to strengthen the party and to bring about political transformation in the State for the benefit of the common people.
Kejrival and AAP Nagaland have identified on the urgent need of the common people of Nagaland which have been neglected and marginalised for the past so many years under different political parties in the State.
The house decided to promulgate party’s aims and objective to move forward with support from the common people according to their choice than insisting citizens to vote under the cause of money power. The party stressed that every citizen has the right to vote any political candidate willingly but not under the authority of money power where many citizens are left unheard and marginalised.
AAP Nagaland, despite being a new political party in the State, assured the common people of the State to fight for justice and urged every citizen to vote with freedom and liberty without being manipulated by any man power and money power or any group or organisations.
‘Manipulating the life and vote of the innocent citizens with gun, money and man power is against the rights of every voter. Eventually, this power manipulation of the existing political party brings poverty and discrimination to the voters when the party agents and candidates become wealthier every day,’ the party statement said.
In this regard, AAP Nagaland urged the Nagas to choose either to go under the same shadow of poverty and captivity or under the glory of justice for the rights to every individual’s share in the 2018 election.
Kejrival and AAP Nagaland agreed to contest in the 2018 election. The party is confident to win the election in many constituencies. The party strongly believed that every winning belongs to the common people but not to individual leader or candidate.
AAP Nagaland further appealed every voter of the State to realise the need for political transformation in which the rich are becoming richer and poor are becoming poorer day by day under the deplorable political history of the State.
