An orientation for the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan was held in Zunheboto, aiming to strengthen grassroots tribal governance, inclusive development, and last-mile service delivery.

DIMAPUR — The orientation meeting of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, an initiative under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), was held at the Deputy Commissioner (DC) conference hall, Zunheboto, on August 12.
According to a DIPR report, the meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto, Dharam Raj.
The DC, in his opening remark, welcomed the line departments for their prompt participation and briefly apprised the house that the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a transformative initiative by MoTA aimed at empowering grassroots governance, driving inclusive development, and strengthening last-mile service delivery in tribal areas, with real-time grievance redressal and systematic implementation across all stakeholder levels.
He also emphasised the need for localised, context-specific solution support through inter-departmental convergence in designing responsive and inclusive tribal policies.

He further stressed that the programme would also integrate civil society organisations (CSOs) to strengthen participatory learning and local contextualisation. In this regard, the nominated NGO, Green Club, Zunheboto, was instructed to take up timely and transformative interventions when their roles and responsibilities are assigned.
All the members present participated in the meeting and discussed that further directives from the MoTA would be intimated to all the departments through the nodal officer, Zunheboto.
