A peace of mind

It is heart-rending thing to express that we the so called Nagas Christians, pioneers and oldsters are highly skilled in the art of self-justification and are able to produce innumerable reasons as to why what we did was excusable even if it was wrong. It appears that every Nagas has an exaggerated sense of his own importance and lost to all sense of shame. All Nagas whether educated are all ideal preachers, Teachers and advisers on the outside without substance the least little bit on the inside. Why because the witness of the way a person lives is more important for speaking is much easier than right living words and walk must be in tune. The sole aim of Naga political leaders and those top ranking government officials is personal aggrandizement at the expenses of needy. Even if we say ‘no’ our palatial buildings, assets and bank balance speak volume. We scramble for power and leadership with the ulterior profit motives. As a matter of fact, a good leader undertakes nothing from motives of love of fame or wealth. Such as this selfish attitudes can never save Nagas, because man is by nature desirous of the best things. Therefore if a free society like Naga cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich. The whole situation is a mess and it makes me recall the French revolution. Unlike the French Revolution, unlike the French people Nagas can never continue for another 50 years in such socio-Political mess. Beloved Nagas, let us live together as fellow brothers and sisters at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ; let us not perish together as fools at the feet of Satan. If Religion is the Cement which holds human societies together, why not Naga Christians.
The tragedy of yesterday was not so much the noisiness of bad people, but by the silence of Good People. Their silence expresses their sad affairs more eloquent than any word. Now some of the good people with wisdom realised that Nagas had been duped by implausible National/Political leaders with ulterior motives and such vocal minority are seeking our helping hands because there is a limit of pain human being can bear. Let us therefore wipe of yesterday and tomorrow despite writing something of anything that would implicate each other any further, for we cannot remedy the past. We have all consciously or unconsciously gone into selfish rut rather than self-sacrifice and come short of the glory of Nagas. It is an opportune moment to support the corporate efforts of ACAUT and FNR as well.
