Kohima, June 28 (EMN): A book titles ‘Akezisuo mu puo puotsa,’ written in Tenyidie language by Thejangunuo Theünuo and published by the Penthrill Publication, was released in Kohima on Tuesday.

Author of the book, Thejangunuo Theünuo, shared that her father was a man of few words adding that whenever he tells a story, he could really spin a yarn. Theünuo said she plans to write stories about her father for a long time.

She said it was her husband, who helped her write it in Tenyidie.

The author’s father, Neisielie Mepfhüo, shared that his grandfather named him Akezisuo out of love. He lived with his grandfather, who told him all the stories.

Professor D Kuolie, secretary general of Ura Academy, while releasing the book said,” It is an oral-to-written book which is important for everyone. Writing a book is not easy and requires the involvement of family members. The author has made a great achievement by being able to write the book.”

Stating that the most important thing for a writer is to bridge between them and their readers, he said the author tried to depict her capabilities by sacrificing and coming up with the book.

“If one has the desire and passion, it is not hard to write a book or learn something new. Everyone possesses the impulse to write something about themselves or anything. But, if one does not have the talent it is not easy to pursue it,” the professor maintained.

Speaking about Tenyidie, he said it is very complex and its intricacies are yet to be fully understood.
