Patkai Christian College’s Campus Film Festival 4.0 concludes
DIMAPUR — The 3-day Campus Film Festival 4.0, presented by Mahindra Apex Motors Nagaland, powered by Hunky Dory and organised by the department of Mass Communication at Patkai Christian College (PCC), Chümoukedima, concluded on October 30.
The event was managed by the third-year students of the Mass Communication department under the leadership of festival directors Yomge Jilen and Wano Nangmung Yanlem, stated a press release.
The film screenings attracted a total of 793 attendees registered over the three days.
It stated that the first day witnessed an audience of 130 for 11 screenings. On the second day, nine films attracted 176 viewers, while the final day achieved the highest turnout, with 367 attendees for eight screenings.
In addition to the films, the event featured departmental and sponsor stalls, as well as departmental photobooths, which allowed attendees to engage beyond the screenings.
It mentioned that, with the support of 19 sponsors, the festival provided a platform for the organisers and attendees, concluding on a very high note.
Dr. Dakter Esse Jamir, head of the department of Mass Communication, stated during the closing of the event that the three-day film festival is a 100 percent student-curated event and falls under the course papers Media Entrepreneurship, Event Management, and PR.
