DIMAPUR — Tetso College, in collaboration with the Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA), has announced a summer basketball coaching camp from July 8 to 13. The camp aims to nurture young basketball talent and promote sportsmanship.
The camp will feature seasoned coaches, including Chumben Humtsoe, an NIS coach and FIBA-certified trainer, and Temsu Longkumer, M.P.Ed., who specialises in basketball and sports training, according to a press release.
Open to all aspiring basketball players, the camp is expected to provide a unique opportunity to enhance skills and learn from some of the best in the sport.
An official from Tetso College stated that their goal is to provide a platform for young athletes to develop their talents and foster a love for basketball.
Participants can look forward to a week of comprehensive training sessions, including dribbling, shooting, defensive techniques, and team play strategies. The camp will conclude with a friendly match to showcase the skills learned throughout the week.
