An organisation whether private or public, is at stake when it fails to maintains the vicinity or its surrounding.
The esteemed organisation that is responsible for building and maintenance of roads and bridges across the nation and even neighbouring country like Afghanistan has failed to maintain the stretch of the approach road leading to Project Sewak, measuring around 400 metres from its entrance gate to the starting point of the main road; DC court / Dhobinala Road, opposite Nepali Basti Junction.
This stretch of road is full of potholes and bumps that whenever, there is even a slight rainfall, it turns into a pool.
Students of MGM College, MGM Hr. Sec. School Government Middle school and church attendees of United Baptist Church, Garo Baptist Church, Mar Gregarious Syrian Orthodox Church have to wade through the stagnant rain water to attend schools or church. Moreover, those driving vehicles or riding two wheelers have to take great precautions while passing this portion of the road so as not to bump against any student or pedestrian especially during the rush hour.
Let us hope that whoever or whichever organisation is responsible for maintenance of this stretch of the road, should take the initiative to ease the plight of the student community especially during monsoon season.
