DIMAPUR — The Dimapur District Industries Entrepreneurs Association unanimously elected Kashito Kiba as the association’s new president at a meeting held on September 28 at its office.
The members also elected Vivi Thapo as general secretary, Ghotovi Chophy and Kughalu Aye as advisors, and Kivito as finance secretary, according to a press release.
Other team members include S Anthony Angami, Shihovi Chophy, Asen Jamir, Theyiekuolie Zuyie, T Yanger Ozukum, Qhetoli Thapo, L Alongba, James Lotha, Solomon Awomi, and Viyito Chophy.
The association also resolved to change the nomenclature of Dimapur District Industries Entrepreneurs Association (DDIEA) to Western Nagaland Industries Entrepreneurs Association (WNIEA).
Regarding the change in nomenclature, the release mentioned that this was done ‘in order to expand its horizons to encourage and promote the prevailing entrepreneurs, particularly in the field of industries related to the western zone, inclusive of small, medium, and large scale industries, particularly in western Nagaland’.
