Naga Students’ Union Dehradun hosts Naga winter carnival

Dimapur, Dec. 21 (EMN): Naga Students’ Union Dehradun (NSUDD) hosted the first-ever Naga winter carnival on December 16 and 17. The event was organises to raise fund for fresher’s day and also create a homely festive environment for the students and families residing in Dehradun.

An update from the union stated that invitations were sent to the offices of other northeastern state unions wherein Arunachal Dehradun Students’ Union (ADSU) and Unified Tripura Students’ Union (UTSA) have participated by setting up their stalls. It added that volunteers of Dehradun Eastern Naga Students’ Union (DENSU) have assisted during the whole event.

Various games and food stalls were set up and an open mic contest along with some other dance and talent performance were held on the second day right before the screening of FIFA World Cup 3rd place match between Morocco and Croatia.

It mentioned that the event hosted for the first time since the formation of the union 26 years ago.
