Dimapur, Aug. 6 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland has declined to 65 with 11 recoveries — eight in Kohima, two in Mon, and one in Dimapur — registered on Saturday, while eight fresh cases pushed the state’s tally to 35,835.
An update from the Health department informed that three cases in Dimapur, and one each in Kohima and Longleng were reported during the last 24 hours, and the total recoveries increased to 33,481.
The death toll remained unchanged at 767 with no fatality reported during the same period.
Out of the 65 active cases, 44 are asymptomatic and 19 mild. In terms of district-wise distribution of cases, Dimapur has 19, Kohima 15, Wokha nine, Longleng six, three each in Mokokchung and Mon and Zunheboto, two each in Tuensang and Phek, and one in Kiphire.
