Nagaland: Instudia organises workshop on photography

Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): Instudia conducted a two-day workshop on basic photography skills and python programming in its institute at Vikiye Centre, Notun Bosti Junction, Dimapur, with Akumyanger L Jamir (Aakum Den), a renowned photographer and proprietor of Studio Lagom, as the resource person along with Vishal Bardewa, senior software developer of Value Labs, on June 23 and 24.

During the workshop, Akumyanger L Jamir explained on different kinds of cameras and lens used by professional photographers for shooting different objects and situations. Jamir also trained the students on technical elements like composing photos besides sharing his experience, an update from Instudia stated.

He also encouraged the students to be opened to the unique needs of Naga people in photography profession in Nagaland.

It stated that the participants were divided into small groups and asked to take pictures in a restricted time limit on the second day. The participants were also introduced to various kinds of photography and helped to choose their favorite style of photography based on their personal preferences.

Vishal Bardewa gave an overview and importance of python programming, its importance in the current job market, scope and career prospect. He also highlighted about the current scenario with respect to the remote working culture.

Vishal further shared on building web applications using Django framework and implementing basic system design for deployment of an application to different environments.

Meanwhile, Instudia management officials namely Daniel Changkija and Mughato Swu delivered words of encouragement to the participants and informed that the institute would initiate more of such programmes in the days to come.
