Nagaland records 25 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): Nagaland recorded a single-day rise of 25 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, taking the tally to 31,244 and active caseload to 358.
The state’s cumulative recoveries rose to 29,227 with 28 more patients having recuperated in the last 24 hours, while the death toll remained unchanged at 650 with no fatalities.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, 14 Covid cases were reported in Dimapur, seven in Kohima, and two each in Mokokchung and Mon.
Of the 28 new recoveries, 11 each were in Dimapur and Kohima, four in Mokokchung, and two in Longleng on Thursday.
Nagaland currently has 358 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 267 are asymptomatic, 74 mild, nine moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen, one in ICU without ventilator, and three in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has the highest number with 211 active cases, followed by Kohima with 74, 42 in Mokokchung, 12 in Phek, nine in Kiphire, three in Tuensang, two each in Wokha, Peren and Mon, and one in Longleng, while Zunheboto is currently Covid-free.
