Nagaland records 76 new Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths in one day

Dimapur, July 12 (EMN): The number of Covid-19 cases in Nagaland has increased to 26,052 with 76 more infections detected on Monday, while active caseload has decreased to 959 following 83 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours.
The data provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare updated that out of the 76 fresh infections, 22 were from Mokokchung, 19 in Dimapur, 11 in Tuensang, six in Mon, five in Kohima, four each in Longleng, Wokha and Zunheboto, and one in Phek.
The state also recorded 83 recoveries in the last 24 hours out of which 47 were in Kohima, 10 each in Dimapur and Mokokchung, six in Tuensang, and five each in Mon and Phek.
The cumulative recoveries in the state is 23,858 so far and the death toll in 497 with four casualties reported in the last 24 hours.
Currently, Nagaland has 959 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 800 are asymptomatic, 101 mild, 30 moderate on oxygen, 13 severe on oxygen, seven in ICU without ventilator and eight in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 256 active cases, 247 in Kohima, 227 in Mokokchung, 40 in Mon, 37 in Zunheboto, 31 each in Kiphire and Wokha, 28 in Phek, 26 in Tuensang, 19 in Peren, and 17 in Longleng.
