Nagaland reports 68 Covid-19 cases, 43k in India

Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): Nagaland on Sunday reported 68 fresh Covid-19 positive cases, taking the state’s active tally to 1234.
According to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare, out of the 68 cases, Dimapur reported 18, Mokokchung 22, Kohima 20, Kiphire four, Mon two, and one each in Longleng and Phek.
Meanwhile, 86 recoveries were also reported in the last 24 hours, pushing the recovery tally to 23077.
It informed that 25 recoveries were reported from Kohima, 23 from Dimapur, 19 from Peren, nine from Mokokchung, six from Phek and four from Kiphire.
Further, the Covid death toll stands at 485.
India reports 43k fresh cases
India registered 43,071 Covid-19 infections on Sunday, taking the tally of cases to 3,05,45,433, while active cases declined to 4,85,350, according to data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The death toll climbed to 4,02,005 with 955 more fatalities, the data informed.
It said that a total of 35,12,21,306 vaccine doses have been administered through 46,04,925 sessions, while 63,87,849 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
