Nagaland reports 111 Covid-19 cases, 50k in India

Dimapur, June 27 (EMN): Nagaland on Sunday reported 111 fresh Covid cases, and 73 recoveries.
According to data provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare, out of the 111 cases, 33 were from Kohima, 21 from Dimapur, 25 from Tuensang, 16 from Mokokchung, eight from Zunheboto, five from Mon, two from Peren and one from Wokha.
Meanwhile, 36 recoveries were reported from Dimapur, 14 from Mokokchung, 12 from Peren, seven from Kohima, three from Tuensang, and one from Wokha.
India reports 50k cases
India reported 50,040 fresh Covid-19 infections on Sunday taking the tally to 3,02,33,183, while the number of active cases dipped to 5,86,403, according to data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The death toll climbed to 3,95,751 with 1,258 more people succumbing to the disease.
It said that 64.25 lakh vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative number of jabs to 32.17 crore.
