Daily Covid-19 cases drop below 100 in Nagaland; 3 deaths reported

Dimapur, June 12 (EMN): New Covid-19 positive cases drop below 100 for first time in 46 days in Nagaland as 96 fresh infections were reported on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 23,562.
Nagaland last recorded less than 100 new cases on April 26 with 55 infections.
The Health and Family Welfare department updated that out of the 96 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 38 were in Kohima, 26 in Dimapur, 20 in Mokokchung, four each in Tuensang and Zunheboto, and two each in Mon and Phek.
The state also recorded 235 recoveries in the last 24 hours, out of which 126 were in Dimapur, 35 in Mokokchung, 26 each in Tuensang and Kohima, nine in Wokha, eight in Zunheboto, two each in Longleng and Phek, and one in Peren.
The state currently has 3633 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 3,364 are asymptomatic, 166 mild, 51 moderate on oxygen, 25 severe on oxygen, 18 in ICU without ventilator and nine in ICU on ventilator.
The state also registered 18,822 recoveries and 434 deaths, out of which three were reported in the last 24 hours.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 1,878 active cases, 708 in Kohima, 534 in Mokokchung, 176 in Tuensang, 71 in Zunheboto, 68 in Wokha, 67 in Mon, 60 in Phek, 30 in Kiphire, 29 in Longleng, and 12 in Peren.
