Nagaland records 116 new Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths in 24 hours

Dimapur, June 11 (EMN): Nagaland recorded four casualties and 116 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state’s Covid tally to 23,466.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 116 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 34 were in Tuensang, 26 in Kohima, 19 in Dimapur, 15 in Mokokchung, 10 in Phek, five in Zunheboto, three in Longleng, two in Mon and one each in Peren and Wokha.
Out of the current 3777 active Covid-19 cases, 3505 are asymptomatic, 170 mild, 51 moderate on oxygen, 27 severe on oxygen, 18 in ICU without ventilator and six in ICU on ventilator.
A total of 18,587 patients have recovered so far, including 209 in the last 24 hours and 431 deaths, out of which four were reported on Friday.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 1,982, 697 in Kohima, 549 in Mokokchung, 198 in Tuensang, 77 in Wokha, 75 in Zunheboto, 65 in Mon, 60 in Phek, 31 in Longleng, 30 in Kiphire, and 13 in Peren.
