Nagaland records 113 new Covid-19 cases, 6 deaths on Thursday

Dimapur, June 10 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 113 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s active caseload to 3.877 and tally to 23,350.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 113 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 47 were in Mokokchung, 22 in Dimapur, 17 in Tuensang, 13 in Kohima, five in Phek, four in Mon, two each in Wokha and Zunheboto, and one in Kiphire.
The state also recorded 117 recoveries in the last 24 hours out of which 51 were in Dimapur, 30 in Tuensang, 12 in Kohima, seven in Phek, six in Kiphire, five each in Wokha and Zunheboto and one in Mon.
Out of the 3877 active cases, 3591 are asymptomatic, 166 mild, 54 moderate on oxygen, 36 severe on oxygen, 19 in ICU without ventilator and 11 in ICU on ventilator.
The state has registered 18,378 recoveries so far and 427 deaths, out of which six were reported in the last 24 hours.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 2,099, 678 in Kohima, 536 in Mokokchung, 193 in Tuensang, 82 in Mon, 81 in Wokha, 74 in Zunheboto, 61 in Phek, 31 in Kiphire, 29 in Longleng, and 13 in Peren.
Vaccine slot booking for 18-44 age group on June 13 and 20
Nagaland Health department has issued a notice informing the public that CoWIN portal will be opened for vaccine slot booking for 18-44 age group on June 13 from 9 am onwards for vaccination to be held from June 14 to the 18th, and on June 20 (9 am onwards) for vaccination days of June 21 to the 25th.
A total 16,300 slots will be available across the state during this vaccination slot.
State Immunisation Officer Dr. Ritu Thurr informed that along with 45 and above age group, on-site registration and vaccination will be made available to 18-44 age group in rural health units.
