Nagaland reports 77 new Covid-19 cases, 1.14 lakh in India

Dimapur, June 6 (EMN): Nagaland on Sunday reported 77 fresh Covid-19 cases taking the active tally to 4732, and total tally to 22773.
According to data provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima reported 20 fresh cases, 17 each in Dimapur and Zunheboto, 10 in Mokokchung, seven in Phek, two each in Peren and Tuensang, and one each in Wokha and Mon.
Meanwhile, the state also reported 160 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 16974. The district-wise distribution of the recoveries are – 101 in Dimapur, 18 in Kohima, 13 in Zunheboto, nine in Phek, eight in Tuensang, four in Mokokchung, three in Wokha, two each in Longleng and Peren.
The death toll stands at 412, out of which four were reported in the last 24 hours.
India reports 1.14 lakh fresh cases
India reported 1,14,460 new Covid infections pushing the Covid tally to 2,88,09,339, according to data provided by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday.
Meanwhile, with 1,89,232 recoveries registered in the last 24 hours, the active caseload has dipped to 14,77,799.
It further stated that the Covid-19 death toll climbed to 3, 46, 759 with 2,677 daily deaths.
Meanwhile, 23.13 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide vaccination drive, while 33,53,539 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
A total of 23,13,22,417 vaccine doses have been administered through 32,42,503 sessions, it said.
