Two cricket pitches inaugurated in Phek district

Dimapur, March 3 (EMN): Two cricket pitches were constructed at Phek town and Pfutsero in Phek district by the Phek District Cricket Association (PDCA) under the aegis of the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA). 

A press statement on Wednesday informed that the pitches were constructed with an aim to “develop and popularise the game of cricket at the grassroots level in Phek district”. 

 Zhoi Lohe, SDO (Civil) Phek inaugurated the pitch on February 27. In his short address, he expressed his gratitude and acknowledged the NCA and PDCA for undertaking the development of cricket in the district. 

Meanwhile,in Pfutsero, Veyelo Doulo, deputy director, department of Tourism inaugurated the pitch on March 1.It said that  Doulo encouraged the cricket lovers to make the best use of the facility.
