Nagaland Covid-19 update: 112 new cases detected; tally stands at 9750

Dimapur, Nov. 14 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has reached 9750 with 112 new cases reported on Saturday.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed that 112 positive Covid cases – 109 in Dimapur, two in Kohima and one in Mon – were detected on Saturday. He added that 30 patients from Dimapur have recovered.
In his daily briefing, Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha informed that out of the 9,750 positive cases in the state, the total recoveries so far are 8,794. “The active cases are
805 and there have been 46 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 757 active cases are asymptomatic, 21 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 3 active cases are critical without oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilator,” he shared.
“Further, out of 9,750 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people
are: 4,099 cases of armed forces/ police, 1,730 cases of returnees, 3,449 cases of traced
contacts and 472 cases of frontline workers.
“A total of 65,576 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of
64,247 samples have been received. In addition, a total 34,897 samples have been sent for testing on TrueNat and results of 34,816 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 5,094 samples have been tested,” he added.
