Nagaland records 276 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday
Dimapur has crossed the 1000 mark of Covid-19 positive cases

Dimapur, August 4 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 276 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 2,405.
This was informed by the state’s minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, on August 4.
“276 new positive cases have been confirmed out of 735 samples tested. 187 from Dimapur and 89 from Mon. Necessary contact tracing have been activated and all primary contacts are under self isolation,” the minister tweeted.
According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1749 active Covid-19 cases, 648 recoveries, and four deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1032 active cases, followed by Kohima at 384, Mon 199, Zunheboto 61, Peren 21, Phek 14, Mokokchung 11, Wokha 12, and Tuensang at 4, while Longleng and Kiphire has no cases.
