Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): As the humanity is gripped by the threat of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) and Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA) have called upon all the Christians to observe prayer programme on March 29.

A CFD press release issued by its chairman Rev. Moses Murry and secretary Rev. Fr. CP Anto have requested the churches to make a “24×7 chain prayer” in their own respective individual families and pray for God’s intervention, protection and healing of universe, nation, state and own families from the deadly pandemic situation. CFD also requested all to pray for each other so that they might seek God’s wisdom and come together to fight against Covid-91 to save the  humanity.

CFD also encouraged its members to have special time of individual and family prayer during the monthly prayer fellowship time which is suppose to be held on 1st Tuesday of April. CFD further made special request to all its members to extend support to the government and concerned departments who are working tirelessly day in and out.

In a separate statement, Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA) has urged all the churches to pray atleast for 10 minutes in their respective homes on March 29.

FNBA general secretary Rev. H Gideon has sought prayer for the healing of Covid-19 affected land and people who are under medical treatment; for protection of the people, family, neighbour and oneself from Covid-19; for complete removal of Covid-19 from the face of the earth; for divine favour and revelation to the researchers; for doctors and nurses who are on duty for divine protection; and for Christian leaders, pastors, missionaries for divine guidance and strength.
