Dimapur, March 2 (EMN): As many as 302 senior citizens belonging to 60 and above years category, and 22 persons with comorbidities have received Covid-19 vaccines till date in Nagaland with no reports of adverse events that need medical intervention.
An update from State Immunisation Officer, Ritu Thurr informed that ‘the oldest beneficiary of the vaccine was a 96-year-old man from Dimapur and a total of 37,069 doses have been administered in the state till date.
It added that vaccination of age-appropriate high-risk groups will be scaled up across the state from March 7.
About 14.8 million doses of Covidshield and Covaxin have been administered across the country so far, it was informed.
