8th Frolic Cup: MVYO, Winfield Club register wins

The 8^th Frolic Cup commenced on Wednesday at Medziphema local ground with K Neibu Sekhose, executive member All India Football Federation (AIFF) and president of Nagaland Football Federation, as special guest, in the inaugural ceremony.

In the opening match, Medziphema Village Youth Organization (MVYO) defeated Starlit FC Moava (SFC) 1-0, with the lone goal coming through the boots of Thejasetuo in the 10^th minute.

In the afternoon match, Winfield Club drubbed Tenyiphe-1 Youth Organisation 4-1. Purakum scored two goals for Winfield while Lenny and Ayu scored a goal each. Gangchui Pangmei scored the face-saving goal for Tenyiphe.

Sekhose in his address congratulated the Frolic Club for achieving 25 years mile stone and urged the club to continue its yeoman service and to further strive for excellence.
