Dimapur, May 8 (EMN): Out of the total 805 samples sent for suspected Covid-19 testing from Nagaland, 775 have returned negative.
Minister for Planning and Co-ordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu, informed that results for the remaining 30 samples are awaited.
Currently there are 77 persons under facility quarantine.He also informed that the department of Health and Family Welfare, in collaboration with the Police department, is digitally monitoring persons put on quarantine.
Advisory for non Covid-19 patients
“The department of Health and Family Welfare has issued an advisory for any seriously ill non Covid-19 patients requiring treatment outside the state. Such patients are requested to contact their respective district task force for more information. They are also requested to get a written document, an acceptance note by the referring-in hospital while applying for referral or movement permit,” Kronu said.
