Dimapur, March 16 (EMN): Eighty years old man identified as Akhalu was charred to death in an inferno which also burned six houses including the building of the village youth organisation in Lazami village under Pughotoboto sub division on March 15, a delayed report said.
A DIPR report said the fire was doused off by the villagers before it could spread to surrounding areas. The district administration and police rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. It informed that the cause of the fire could not be ascertained till the time of filing the report.
