Dimapur, Jan 29: Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) has barred eight members from Chakhesang region of Phek district as per CPO order dated January 17, 2017, for defying the CPO resolutions on ULB elections.
CYF joint statement issued by its president Welete Kapfo and the general secretary Chubutse Naro have cautioned of stern action against any of the debarred persons in failing to comply with the order. It added that any individual/group dealing with these persons within the Chakhesang region of Phek district would be doing so at their own risks. Meanwhile, it has directed the town/ village youths to keep vigil on the mentioned persons.
The persons are Mrs Wetsole Rhakho of Phek village, Nesucho Keyho of Phek village, Mrs Veduhulu of Middle Khomi village, Vezhopra Thingo of Thipuzu village, Avi Movi of Zhavame village, Salie Khesoh of Phek village, Mrs Neiwekhe-u Khesoh of Kutsapo village and Viketou Nienu of Sohomi village.CYF has also appreciated the initiative of CBCC in undertaking the MoU with the default candidates. It, however, stated the CPO order would stands still and to be strictly enforced by the CYF till the matter is settled at the CPO level.
Further on the issue of State wide bandh, CYF has decided to relax bandh in the Chakhesang region of Phek district till further notice.
