The seventh edition of the Silver Cup T-20 cricket tournament will be held from March 15 at Jakhama Local Ground, under the theme “Peace and Unity through Cricket”. This was informed by the organizers of the annual tournament, Nepali Baptist Church Youth Department.
In a release today, the organizing committee has informed that the winning team will receive a cash award of Rs.70,000 with trophy and citation while the runners-up will be awarded with Rs.25,000 along with runners-up trophy and citation. The losing semi-finalists will receive Rs.5,000 each while individual awards of Rs.1500 each have been set aside for the highest scorer, highest wicket taker and best wicket keeper. Also, the best disciplined team would receive a cash award of Rs.2000.The organisers have notified that entry fee for teams and clubs will be Rs.5,000 while churches or colleges can register for Rs.4,000 each.
