7th Frolic Cup: UFCJ, Amigos FC, Ukigei FC, Swat FC register win

Dimapur, March 28 (EMN): United Falcon Club Junior (UFCJ) moved to the next round after defeating Zillia FC by a solitary goal from Tonmingthan in the 64th minute.

In the second match, Amigos FC edged past Sparkle United FC (SUFC)  by 5-3 in the tiebreaker after the match ended in a 2-2 draw in regular time, an update informed.

Kevitsokho gave the lead in the 4th minute for SUFC but the lead was short-lived as Kekhrie of Amigos converted a spot kick in the 22nd minute. After the break, Amigos took the lead in the 39th minute through Sunep but SUFC came back in the 56th minute through a goal from Henry Savino.

Ukigei FC took on Sechü Zubza FC Academy in the afternoon match, which ended in a 1-1 draw. In the tiebreaker, Ukigei FC took away the game 5-4.

In the last match, Swat FC team proceeded to the next round after defeating Fantasy FC 2-0. Neizosetuo of Swat FC opened the score-sheet in the 7th minute. The match was sealed, when a misdirected kick from Zakiebeituo of Fantasy FC found his own net.

On Tuesday (March 29), Ton FC will take on Kuki Youth Club in the first match, St. Joseph University will play against Patkai Christian College in the second match, Beckon FC will play against Tribal United in the third match and Medziphema Village Youth Organisation will take on Paohao Memorial FC in the final match.
