7th Frolic Cup: Patkai Christian College, Tribal FC enter quarter finals

Dimapur, March 29 (EMN):  Kuki Youth Club defeated Ton FC 3-0 in the first match of the 7^th Frolic Cup on Tuesday.

The first goal for KYC came in the 5th minute through Shürhuosul. After the break, KYC sealed the match when shots from Thanglunhao and Lamginmang found the net in the 65^th and 71^st minute.

In the second match, Patkai Christian College edged past St. Joseph University 2-1 to enter the quarter finals. St. Joseph team scored the opening goal in 14^th minute through Longngai C Phom. However Patkai Christian College came back with an equaliser through Monton in the 22^nd minute. In the second half, Patkai took the lead when a shot from Menguneizo found the net in the 45^th minute. Bepeto of St. Joseph was cautioned for unsporting play.

Tribal FC proceeded to the quarter finals after defeating The Beakons 3-1.  Ngulie(31 min.), Kuthozo (53 and 68 min.) scored for Tribals FC while Kekruzelie Watsah (50 min.) scored the only goal for the Beakons.

Paohao Memorial FC defeated Medziphema Village Youth Org. 3-2.

 Aloumei (9 min.), Ngulgoulal(16 min.) and Awang (59 min.) scored for Paohao Memorial FC, while Thejaseto(33 min.) and Vikhole(66 min.) scored for MVYO. Ako Cüsotsu and Kelezhatuo of MVYO and Haohen of PMFC were cautioned for unsporting play.
