KOHIMA — The 7th edition of August Rush unfolded with an array of events on Tuesday at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow in Kohima, igniting an atmosphere of celebration and enthusiasm.

A diverse range of competitions graced the occasion.

Among the 11 participants, Vikuovono Kikhi emerged triumphant in the second installment of the August Rush Nagaland Umbrella Festival, a significant component of the event.

Among the 14 stalls adorned within the premises, Earthly Inspired was awarded the distinction of the best stall.

Shangjiu T Khiumiungam, Merensoba Kichu, and Nevuto clinched the first, second, and third positions respectively in the men's category, while Peiheiteile, Tsuchoi T, and Machen Wangsa secured corresponding positions within the women's division during the third rendition of the August Rush Fittest Man and Woman 2023 competition.

At the August Rush Power Lifting Championship, held in collaboration with Flex Appeal Gym, Pelesetso Khate of The Home Gym claimed the title in the 76-85 kg category, followed by Daniel Lotha of Nagaland Fitness Gym and Petevituo Livi of Flex Appeal Gym securing the second and third places respectively.

Within the 65-75 kg category, Zhopao Movi from Flex Appeal Gym emerged as the victor, while Hengwa Thyug of Life Fitness and Lhouche Koza of Chisel Body Work secured the second and third positions.

Kekhrie Thepa emerged as the winner of August Rush Solo Singing Competition 2023.
