Dimapur, June 6 (EMN): With the low turnout of 45 years and above category for Covid vaccination in Kohima district, the medical team on June 5 reached out to the eligible beneficiaries at Bayavü colony in Kohima.
A DIPR report stated that the medical team conducted a vaccination drive at Bayavü Health and Wellness Centre, Kohima, which was blessed by the Bayavü Area Panchayat chairman, Khinyi Woch.
During the vaccination drive, a total of 72 beneficiaries received the Covid vaccine including those due for 2nd dose. According to the report, 58 beneficiaries were from the age group of 45 to 59 years category, while 14 beneficiaries were from 60 years and above category.
Report added that the medical team headed by CHO Kelezonuo Mor, ANM Longtam, GNM Viphrezü, Mhashiesul, Rachel, Hetoli, Kezhienuo also administered Covid vaccine to a stroke patient at her resident.
Meanwhile, the secretary of Bayavü Area Panchayat Diethonguzo Miachieo has thanked the state government for the concern shown towards the residents of Bayavü ward.
