7 NOH contestants advance to the next round

The elimination round for this year Naga Orpheus Hunt was held at Mokokchung Town hall where 7 contestants were selected out of 15 probable contestants.The seven contestants who advanced for the final round where they will be judged and voted by the people of Nagaland according to their presentation in 80’s rock music are Alemkaba Jamir(01), Meyinungsang(08), Sentimenla Jamir(09), T. Apenla Sangtam(11), Yapangtola(15), Lijem Atsongchanger(14) and Nogheli Z Muru(12).
It may be mentioned that unlike the other rounds where they performed in sound tracks ,the seven finalist will work together and perform live with the house band ‘In the name’ for their 80’s rock round. The telecast of the 80’s rock round will be be feeded soon for public on local cable channel all over the state from the lst week of November and the grand finale of Naga Orpheus Hunt will be held during the annual Mokokchung festival M-fest which will fall during December 12 to 14.
